AND Now the US president has been favorable to extend that period of grace so that the social network can find a buyer for his American business.

So and everything, and although Trump admits that he would not have any pruritus when it comes to further postpon simultaneously that He does not believe that a new moratorium is necessary because there are many “players” interested in acquiring the social network. Microsoft, Amazon and Oracle, among other companies, would have realized their interest in the purchase of the American Tiktok business in the course of recent weeks.

Tiktok has 75 days to find a buyer for your American business

The federal law approved last year by Congress stipulated that Bytedance, the Tiktok matrix, had to shed his business in the United States before January 19, 2025 or otherwise, the famous social network would no longer be available in stores North American country applications. The application of that rule was postponed by Trump in 75 days and during this period of time Tiktok must find a buyer who holds control of at least 50% of the social networkas repeated by one and the other the president of the United States.

Trump has admitted, on the other hand, that it “probably” China’s approval is needed to give green light to the acquisition of Bytedance business in the United States. However, the president believes that Beijing will be interested in reaching an agreement because he will also result in his own benefit. The Chinese government prohibits, in any case, the sale of Chinese property algorithms (as is the case of Tiktok) to foreign “players” without its express consent.

Nonetheless, Tiktok has returned to Google and Apple application stores in the United States for the first time since January 19. A letter signed by PAM Bondi, Attorney General of the United States, would have led to Tiktok’s return to App Store Apple and Play Store from Google. Until now it has been impossible for American citizens to download the Tiktok app to install it on their mobile phones or enjoy updates of the social network.
