Hastee, with clients such as McDonald’s, Iberostar and Unilever, reaches profitability
Hasteespecializing in on-demand salary and financial well-being solutions in Europe, has achieved profitability. This marks an important milestone in its mission to offer employees more flexibility and control over their finances. The achievement comes at a time when more companies are offering this option as a essential benefit to attract and retain talent.
Hastee, which was created with the goal of improving financial stability for workers, has grown rapidly since its launch. Currently it has more than 350 client companies in various sectors. Among its clients are big international brands like McDonald’s, Domino’s, Iberostar, Taco Bell, MediaMarkt, DIA, Sanitas, Unilever, PayPal, Iberia Express and EY.
Hastee operates in 4 of the top 5 European on-demand salary access markets: United Kingdom, Spain, Ireland and Portugal. In 2020, it acquired the company Typs, one of the main financial well-being platforms in southern Europe, allowing it expand your platform, which is now multi-country, multi-currency and multilingual, thus consolidating its international presence. Most of Hastee is property of IDC, an investment company with 2.1 billion euros in assets under management, through its innovation arm, IDC Ventures.
The solutions Hastee offers
Hastee’s solution is based on three pillars: enter, learn and grow. With the Hastee app, employees can review how much they have earned, access their salary flexibly (charge a portion when they need it, change your payment cycle to weekly instead of monthly…), receive financial education in small modules and save directly from your salary. The app is very popular and has a rating of 4.7 on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
