OpenAI trips up Google Chrome with AI-powered browser ChatGPT Atlas


OpenAI’s ambition seems to have no limits and the American startup is now preparing to trip up the almighty Google Chrome with your own AI-powered browser: ChatGPT Atlas.

The new ChatGPT matrix browser is now available worldwide on macOSthe operating system for Apple’s Mac computers. This first version for macOS will soon be followed by further versions for Windows, iOS and Android.

The latest from OpenAI anchors itself in the famous AI chatbot ChatGPT and will have access to the queries previously made by the user, which will ultimately translate into a notable improvement in the quality of responsessays the company led by Sam Altman.

ChatGPT Atlas emerges from the shell with the ultimate objective of providing shelter in a single place for the user’s work, context and tools. “A browser developed together with ChatGPT brings us closer to a super assistant that understands your world and helps you achieve your goals,” emphasizes OpenAI

Conceived as a kind of user companion in the depths of the network of networks, ChatGPT Atlas is able to assist the Internet user directly from the windows open on the computer, to understand the work in which they are busy and to complete tasks without the need to copy and paste or leave any web page.

And it seems that analysts and investors are also more than aware of the danger that ChatGPT Atlas eventually poses for Google, since the internet giant’s shares plummeted 2.6% yesterday on the stock market after the launch of the new OpenAI browser.
