- He slope of Instagram, except to los small CREATORS: Reels visualizations fell an amazing 59%, but the accounts with less than 1000 followers saw their engagement increased by 30%, which shows that smaller communities can still win.
- Facebook’s unexpected return: Reels on Facebook increased with 72% more publications and 55% more creators, which generated a 24% increase in visualizations.
- Short overload on YouTube: Despite a 61% increase in published shorts, participation decreased by 36% and interactions were almost reduced by half.
- Decreased attention capacity: Tiktok’s average visualization time fell to only 3.75 seconds, which gave creators less than four seconds to hook their audience.
- Tiktok leads in growth potential: Almost 1 in 4 Tiktok accounts amounted to a higher level in 2025, exceeding other platforms.
“Short videos are the standard on social networks. Our data shows the platforms where creators can still grow and where the rules are changing rapidly,” said Juan Pablo Tejela, CEO and co -founder of Metricool. “Tiktok is still the growth engine, but Instagram’s smaller accounts and Facebook’s resurgence are stories that brands cannot ignore.”
